The Kongsberger Stampede is the second of three Kongsberger Ski Club cross-country ski races this winter and the club's oldest race. The Stampede is a fun and approachable race for both new and experienced racers. Shorter distance races are also offered for juniors and kids. • Online Registration (Webscorer) closes 6:00 p.m. Friday, January 27.
• Register early to avoid late fee.
• Bib pick-up for all racers on race day begins at 9:30 am in the Stadium / timing shed area.
To protect the health of our environment and skiers, no waxes using fluorocarbon can be used in Kongsberger Races.
This is currently an honor system.
Cabin and race course are on the north side of interchange at Cabin Creek Sno-Park, exit #63 on I-90, 10 miles east of Snoqualmie Pass.
Washington State Parks Sno-Park permit with Grooming Sticker required to park.

Kongsberger race course is on the Cabin Creek trail system (course map) on US Forest Service land, north side of I-90. 15k race is three laps, 5k race is one lap. Course follows the Berg-Viking-Boundary loop trails. Check race course map in cabin on race day. Feed StationsFood for racers provided at finish area. Water station on course is stocked with water and Nuun (electrolytes but no calories). Racers should carry any additional drinks or food needed during the race. Closest accomodations are in Cle Elum (20 miles east), and at Snoqualmie Pass summit (11 miles west). Non-Racing Skiers & SpectatorsAll ski trails are still open to non-racing skiers. Non-racing skiers are invited to watch races at the start/lap/finish area or along the trails. However, they should consider skiing at another location on race mornings (eg Hyak, Crystal Springs or Lake Easton) as Cabin Creek parking and trail use will be intensive from 9:00 am to 1:00 pn. As always, dogs are not permitted on groomed trails at Cabin Creek. Questions?
